AN
IT CONFERENCE FOR INDIANA
UNIVERSITY
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you to the sixth annual IU Statewide Information
Technology (IT) Conference, May 31 and June 1 at the University Place
Conference Center, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Each year this conference provides an excellent opportunity for campus
information technology staff, departmental technical support staff, and
UITS managers to learn more about information technology initiatives
throughout the university, on all campuses.
In addition to providing general updates on the state of affairs of IT
at IU, the special focus this year is intended to provide IU IT
professionals with an overview of IT initiatives and their relevance to
business and industry within the State.
I am pleased that Scott Jones, Chairman and CEO, Escient Technologies,
LLC, will provide a keynote address on Friday morning. Scott is also
chairman of the Indiana Technology Partnership and TechNet Indiana.
Trustee Jim Morris and IU School of Medicine Dean Craig Brater will also
be presenting on topics of interest and relevance to the conference.
Once again I look forward to meeting with you at the Statewide
Information Technology Conference.
Yours sincerely,
Michael McRobbie
Vice President for Information Technology
